There has been some talk during the last year about swapping out Microsoft points for money
And this in my opinion is a good thing.
My main issue with Microsoft points is that they have an unknown value
How much am I really paying for an Arcade game or a piece of DLC
Well I don't know because the current points have no know original value.
For example, If I went to a big company outlet (Target, Kart/ Walwart, Toy R US) and bought 3000 Mircosoft points for $50
and with those points I bought:
2 Games for 1000 Microsoft points
2 DLC for 1600 Microsoft points
How much are these worth in dollar form?
This problem could be solved if either a) they got rid of Microsoft points or b) they put a dollar price tag as well as a points price tag
Or do the obvious thing and give the world an indefinate dollar worth to points.
